Fariba was born in Germany to a multicultural family, which has enriched her perspective throughout her artistic journey. She creates compelling mixed media collages that capture the interplay of light and dark aspects of life through a deeply personal and intimate lens. Her artwork invites viewers to explore the intricacies of joy and pain—each piece a window into the emotions that shape our human experience.

Fariba holds a master’s degree in visual arts from Germany and has dedicated her life to the art world. Since relocating to Asheville, she has also embraced the opportunity to guide tours through the River Arts District, a vibrant hub of artistic activity. Fariba harbors an ardent passion for both local and international art. Since her childhood, her extensive visits to European art museums, coupled with her own enriching artistic experience, have cultivated her passion for teaching art and led her to pursue a career in art consultancy.

Fariba began her artistic adventure as a teenager, experimenting with collages by cutting and rearranging images from magazines to visually express her feelings and emotions, always following elements of design. With a degree in visual arts, she currently resides in Asheville, NC, where she continues to develop her unique style. So far Fariba has received three artistic awards for her collages.
